Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how DevStox (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the mobile applications we publish (each, the “App”) and this website.

Last updated: August 17, 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies to all mobile applications published by DevStox on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and to devstox.com. Some Apps may have App-specific privacy details listed on their store page or in-app; if those conflict with this policy, the App-specific details apply for that App.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide. If an App offers an account, contact form, or support channel, we collect what you choose to send us — such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message. If an App lets you create or upload content, we store that content so the App can function.

Information collected automatically. When you use an App we and our service providers may collect:

  • Device and technical data — device model, operating system version, language, region, time zone, App version, and a non-permanent device or installation identifier.
  • Usage data — screens viewed, features used, session length, and interactions with the App, in aggregate or pseudonymous form.
  • Diagnostics — crash logs, error reports, and performance data used to fix bugs and improve stability.
  • Advertising identifiers — where an App shows ads, an advertising identifier may be used to serve and measure ads. On iOS this only occurs if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission.

Permissions. Some Apps request access to device features such as the camera, photo library, microphone, notifications, or location. These are requested only when a feature needs them, always with your consent, and you can revoke them at any time in your device settings. Data accessed through these permissions is used only to provide the feature you requested.

Payments. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation of a transaction and its status, but we never receive or store your full payment card details.

3. How We Use Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features
  • To fix bugs, diagnose crashes, and improve performance and usability
  • To respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the App
  • To deliver and measure advertising, where the App is ad-supported
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build profiles for unrelated purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to run our Apps. Depending on the App, these may include analytics providers (such as Google Analytics for Firebase), crash reporting (such as Firebase Crashlytics), backend and hosting providers, push notification services, and advertising networks (such as Google AdMob). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies, and the specific set of providers used by an App is disclosed on that App’s store listing.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We share information only in these situations:

  • With service providers who process data on our behalf and are bound to protect it
  • When required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request
  • To protect the rights, safety, or property of DevStox, our users, or the public
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy
  • With your consent, or at your direction

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Diagnostic and analytics data is typically retained in aggregated or pseudonymous form. Account data is deleted within a reasonable period after you delete your account.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time
  • Request a portable copy of your data
  • Opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Where an App offers an account, you can request account and data deletion from within the App or by emailing us at [email protected]. We respond to verified requests within the period required by applicable law.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Apps that are directed to children are labeled as such on their store page and comply with the additional requirements that apply to them.

10. International Transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for these transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or on this page, and the “Last updated” date above will change. Continued use of an App after an update means you accept the revised policy.

12. Contact Us

Questions or requests about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
